David Maayan studied directing at the Department of Theatre Arts, Tel Aviv University.  He founded Acco Theatre Center, where he has directed his much praised, five-hour production of Arbeit macht frei vom Toitland Europa, shown extensively in Acco and international festivals. Worked and created group based in Kibbutz Kabri and in Shlomi. Currently, residing and working in Vienna.
