Shira Eviatar is a Tel Aviv based choreographer & dancer, known for her groundbreaking works dealing with ethnic traditional dances in the contemporary dance. She is a DanceWeb scholarship participant and holds a degree in dance theatre from Kibbutzim College. She studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in NYC, and at Kelim – center of choreographic research. She has performed her works in Israel, Italy, France, Poland, Austria, Portugal, Germany, Romania, and Hungary in festivals such as Rencontres chorégraphiques, Fabbrica Europa, Malta Festival and more. Her work Rising been invited by the Bat-Sheva Dance Company to perform.
