Ido Feder, born 1985 in Jerusalem, is an independent choreographer based in Tel Aviv. He studied dance in Codarts (Rotterdam) and has danced with various choreographers in the Netherlands, such as Itzik Galili, Paul Selwyn Norton, Jack Gallagher, Liat Waysbort and others. He later joined the choreography formation ex.e.r.ce in the Centre Choreographique National in Montpellier, which is a program for young choreographers then led by French choreographer Mathilde Monnier. There he worked with many artists, such as: Lisa Nelson, Mark Tompkins, Loic Touze, La Ribot and others. Since then he has choreographed extensively and have presented in all major venues in Israel, and also in Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium and more. He is the artistic director of Diver Festival, an international dance festival in Tel Aviv which is growing rapidly and is known for his conceptual curation and varied programmation. The festival has presented artists such as Raimund Hoghe, Dana Michel, Simon Mayer, Ligia Lewis, Yasmeen Godder, Arkadi Zaides, May Zarhy and many other young voices in Israel and abroad. He established the Tights: Dance&Thought - which is an entity running a dance residency program in Jaffa, research projects about dance and philosophy, school for dancer and an annual conference. He also holds a Masters in Philosophy from Tel Aviv Univeristy.
